  16. <p>     HERE HE COMES, MR. CONNECTICUT. The race for a House seat
  17. from Connecticut could turn into a beauty pageant, pitting the
  18. made-for-TV looks of former Congressman Toby Moffett, an
  19. ex-anchorman for WVIT-TV in Hartford, against Michael Pacowta,
  20. the mayor of Shelton. Three years ago, Pacowta paraded across
  21. the stage on the Sally Jessy Raphael Show in silk p.j.s with
  22. black flowing bottoms and a leopard-spotted kimono. Pacowta says
  23. he showed restraint in his modeling: "She tried to get me into a
  24. pair of skimpy bikini shorts, but I said too much leg." He got
  25. to keep the outfit.
